Families for Safe Streets:
Utah Chapter

Families for Safe Streets confronts the preventable epidemic of traffic violence by advocating for life-saving changes and providing support to those who have been impacted by crashes.

In 2022, BikeWalk Provo, working with Jason Lane, whose son Caleb was hit and killed by a car while in a crosswalk in 2018, brought together a number of active transportation advocacy organizations such as SLC's Sweet Streets, Bike Orem, and the Hobble Creek Bicycle Association, to establish the Utah Chapter of Families for Safe Streets.
